I'm excited to share a bit about what makes my work not just a job, but a passion. Honestly I feel like many people have a perception that videographers or filmmakers just hit a red button on a camera. And to hire someone for their services, they're basically just hiring someone to solve the problem of hitting the record button to get stuff on camera.

There's more to the whole process. There's more to being a creative video professional. First and foremost, I'm all about diving into each project headfirst, whether it's bringing a client's vision to life with a splash of creativity or tackling the technical side of things.

What I love most is the collaboration. It's the heart of every project, turning visions into reality. In my world, projects fall into two main categories: Scripted and Non-Scripted. Let me break it down for you. Scripted projects are those where every detail is mapped out ahead of time, kind of like playing a pop song where every note and lyric aligns perfectly. It's about bringing a pre-defined vision to life, where set design, cinematography, and direction all play their parts in harmony. On the flip side, Non-Scripted projects are the jazz improvisation of videography.

Think live events or testimonial interviews where spontaneity is key. Here, it's all about adapting on the fly, capturing the essence of the moment, and molding the narrative as we go. It's an exhilarating challenge, keeping me on my toes and ensuring no two days are ever the same. Each project is a unique adventure, a puzzle waiting to be solved. And that, my friends, is what keeps this journey so thrilling.

Curious about how I can help bring your next event to life or have any videography questions? Don't hesitate to drop a comment or reach out. My schedule's pretty tight since I focus on giving each of my three clients the attention they deserve, so if you've got a project in mind, let's chat soon.
